Healthy watersheds are the foundation of healthy communities. At Southeast Environmental Association (SEA), our watershed restoration work focuses on protecting and restoring the streams, rivers, wetlands, forests, and coastal habitats that sustain wildlife, improve water quality, and strengthen ecosystem health across southeastern Prince Edward Island.
Our restoration efforts include planting native trees and shrubs, stabilizing streambanks, enhancing fish habitat, improving water flow, restoring wetlands, removing barriers to fish passage, and controlling invasive species. Guided by scientific monitoring and strong partnerships with landowners, volunteers, community groups, and government agencies, each project is designed to improve the long-term health and resilience of our local watersheds.
By restoring natural habitats today, SEA is helping ensure cleaner water, healthier ecosystems, and thriving communities for generations to come.
